Logan came home in last week announcing that he would like to be a clown one day when he grows up. My first thoughts were, that is a hell of a lot better than the soldier he wanted to be the year before. Closely followed by, I am so glad you will chop and change your mind a million times in the next couple of year.
The Career Day Clown
On Friday Logan had a career day at school which at first had me slightly hesitant to send him to school dressed as a clown. However when he explained to my what his reasoning was behind wanting to become a clown I felt incredibly proud. It is simple – he wants to make children laugh. Pretty noble really! He went on to explain how he will work a couple of years to have enough money to build a venue where he can host parties. He will hire a couple of cashiers and he will charge the parents per trick.
We went on to refine his dream, by brainstorming ways of make his party business/ clown performance more profitable by adding in party packs, cakes and charging per child and per trick. Furthermore Logan has decided after careful consideration that he needs to swop the cashiers with waiters, they’d be far more useful. Lastly according to Logan I will get an awesome promotion, as head chef in his little business. How lucky could I be? Poor customers…
Dreaming with Logan is fun. I am ready for a lifetime of dreams and working towards it.
