Over the weekend, Kobus and I popped into the “Klip en Klap” market in Pretoria East. After snatching up and amazing deal on an old-school overhead projector, we made our way to the second hand books.
It was here that a book called “Who Move My Cheese” by Spencer Johnson caught my eye.
After reading the back of the book, I realised that this may just be sent from above. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but lots of changes are happening in our house at the moment. For a start, coming back to work has presented us with some challenges and a need for some additional change – what this change entails will in turn depend on other variable. Furthermore Kobus has gotten to a fork in the road when it comes to his career and as excited as I am about the changes that lie ahead, I am feeling ever so slightly jittery about the transition. It seems kind of silly when you see the words black on white, by that is exactly what I feel at the moment. I know in a couple of weeks things will settle but this running through the maze until then is the uncomfortable part where we find ourselves at, at the moment.
Interestingly enough I would normally wait for things to settle and then blog about it, but this is a nice change! See change is inevitable.
Have you read Who Moved My Cheese? How do you cope with change?
